I am a Christian whose decision to work in the helping professional field was driven by a passion for helping people who are hurting emotionally or are experiencing some type of emotional distress. I have been working with individuals with mental health issues for 3 years and I love what I do. I possess a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Welfare and I am pre-licensed in the state of Florida.
I am a Licensed Christian Counselor, who is passionate about helping couples and families improve the satisfaction in their relationships. I can help you achieve peace and emotional freedom through research based techniques proven to work.
I have a passion for helping those who are feeling hurt, broken, or distressed find healing and achieve satisfying lives. I specialize in providing marriage therapy and individual therapy for adults. I am a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for couples interested in premarital counseling. I have also completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use this model, along with Emotionally Focused Therapy, in my work with couples.
I believe that a strong marriage is the foundation for a strong family, which is the foundation for a strong community. But relationships can only be as healthy as the individuals involved. My goal is to build on your strengths, to give you practical tools, and to help improve both your personal well-being and your most important relationships.
I have experience working with adolescents, adults, parents and couples. I provide therapy services here in Greensboro, NC, via telehealth, for mental health issues such as relationship distress, premarital preparation, postpartum mood disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, behavioral issues, and parent coaching.
