Cynthia Finefrock, MS, LPC Associate, supervised by Christy Graham, LPC-S
Hi! You can call me Cindy. I see clients in the state of Texas at Balanced Life Solutions! My work focuses on young adults seeking to understand themselves. We implement strategies to address our unique brains, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. We can use meaning-making, cognitive behavioral techniques, mood management, exposure treatment, or even dream work.
I am curious about the intricacies of your mind, and I search for effective ways to meet your specific needs. I thoughtfully use existential therapy to help you make sense of yourself and the world. I desire to help you process concerns of faith through scripture and prayer! I would be honored to listen to what's on your heart and speak kindness and hope into your life. Healing can come out of hardship, so if you want a friend to walk with you through your deepest pain and questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

My name is Elisha S Lee, LPC. My specialties include depression, anxiety, and trauma. I work with clients holistically. While dealing with the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma, we will also be working to get to the root of the matter to receive true healing. I see clients via telehealth as well as in person at my office in Catonsville, MD. I look forward to supporting you as you move forward in your healing journey.
I believe that you are a child of God designed to have a meaningful, satisfying life with healthy, loving relationships with those you care about most. Isaiah 44:3 reminds us what is promised to us when it says: "For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on dry ground; I will pour out my spirit on your offspring and my blessings on your descendants." If you feel like you are on 'dry ground' I want you to know that this is not your destiny and that your future can be filled with the waters that you thirst for. So, however the story of your life has looked in the past or continues to be in the present, I believe that it is never too late to change, heal, or become the narrator of your own story again; to write new chapters that are not defined by whatever your past may have been like or the hurt and suffering that lies behind you. Your story is certainly not over, and it is NEVER too late to start feeling healthy, empowered, and capable.
I am passionate about helping you overcome the suffering that comes from your past & life experiences. You deserve to be able to lay your burdens down at the cross and let go of unnecessary guilt, shame, and fear that has bound you. God designed you to connect with other people and receive hope. You deserve a warm and compassionate person in your life that can help guide you to your next chapter of joy.
We will work together to bring comfort and solace where you need it most. In my 25 years as a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) helping people has taught me that people seek a proactive solution focused approach with discerning guidance. You will be provided with helpful tools to help you cope and manage life's stressors while you work toward stepping into the hope-filled future that God has meant for you.
I am ready to listen, motivate, and help you uncover your true potential and calling in Christ! While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to identify Christian values and the role they might play in addressing life challenges. We can also work through any questions or contradictions in your faith, and help uncover strategies to better express your faith or integrate it into your daily life.
Whatever struggles you are going through, you are not alone and I am here to support you. My therapy approach is humanistic and collaborative, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Ultimately, I believe every individual can grow and heal in the salvation of Christ for those who put their trust and hope in Him. Working from this premise, I look at therapy as an opportunity to hear your story, understand your mental health and trauma history so that you can take steps that draw on the principles of Christianity to help cope with life challenges, because religious faith can play a significant role in an individual’s life.
Ultimately, I work with clients to reduce self-defeating behaviors and maladaptive thinking through prayer and scripture. Clients who begin therapy with specific problems they hope to solve—such as a marital dispute or a parenting challenge—might receive guidance or advice that is based specifically on the teachings of the Bible.
“When it feels like you’re empty and hurting alone know God is present in this space with you. And as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you. He sees what no one sees, He hears what isn’t said but is cried out by the heart and He will restore you.”
