I have been in private practice as a licensed psychologist since 1994. In addition to providing Counseling for individuals (ages 6 - 80+), I work with couples and families. I also provide Psychological Testing and formal Psychological assessments for anyone in the state of Ohio under my license as a psychologist. I am a Christian and my faith in Christ has been pivotal within my life. My doctoral degree focused on integrating Psychology and Christian Counseling. However, I will not impose my beliefs upon you and I will respect your individual beliefs. Many people have come to me because they have found other mental health professionals or life coaches did not adequately understand their Christian faith or they did not believe their Conservative political values were respected. Esam is a Masters level therapist, licensed by the state of Ohio, who has worked in the social services field since 2003. He holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Esam is a Professional Counselor who has a particular passion for genuine interactions with his clients that result in practical solutions, and real life change.
Esam’s professional expertise includes: marital therapy, trauma, anxiety/depression, phobias, personality disorders and Christian counseling. In addition to the individual and couples counseling, Esam works as a Project Manager in the engineering/construction field and brings a real life, practical perspective to his counseling. He values interactions that are personal, empethetic, thought provoking and life changing.
Esam is blessed with his wife, Trisha, and 4 children (including Mary Grace who is with them from Heaven). Esam is active in his church, and enjoys his Faith, sports, outdoors and truly connecting with his clients.
