I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Orange County, California, with over twenty years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults in diverse settings, specializing in areas such as grief and loss, trauma and abuse, attachment issues, adoptee concerns, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, social skills, and young adult transitions.
My passion lies in helping clients achieve their personal goals in a supportive, structured, and empathetic environment. I approach therapy with genuine care, offering a non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their feelings and experiences. I am deeply committed to guiding each person on their unique journey, fostering self-awareness and insight that often lead to meaningful, lasting change.
My background:
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and I hold specialized certifications in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Adoption and Permanency Curriculum (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I offer both in-person and telehealth counseling services to support the diverse needs of my clients.
I draw on a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to each client’s needs, including Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Control Mastery Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR-Adaptive Information Processing (AIP). This integrative approach allows me to address the whole person, supporting emotional, mental, and behavioral well-being.
As a Christian who has worked with a number of faith-based organizations, I am experienced with integrating faith in my work with clients when there is a need.
