Esam is a Masters level therapist, licensed by the state of Ohio, who has worked in the social services field since 2003. He holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Esam is a Professional Counselor who has a particular passion for genuine interactions with his clients that result in practical solutions, and real life change.
Esam’s professional expertise includes: marital therapy, trauma, anxiety/depression, phobias, personality disorders and Christian counseling. In addition to the individual and couples counseling, Esam works as a Project Manager in the engineering/construction field and brings a real life, practical perspective to his counseling. He values interactions that are personal, empethetic, thought provoking and life changing.
Esam is blessed with his wife, Trisha, and 4 children (including Mary Grace who is with them from Heaven). Esam is active in his church, and enjoys his Faith, sports, outdoors and truly connecting with his clients.
Katherine Obenschain is a seasoned psychotherapist based in Wenham, MA. Her primary therapeutic goal is to create an environment of safety and healing for her clients, enabling and encouraging space for reparative growth. Katherine worked with college students for approximately 25 years. She has worked in community mental health settings as well as private practice. As a psychotherapist, Katherine especially enjoys when clients have an interest in exploring the intersection of Faith and psychology. She is both client centered as well as goal oriented with the various therapeutic modalities that she utilizes. Her faith in Christ is the lens in which she works with her clients. Areas of expertise include: anxiety, depression, relational issues, ADHD, grief and loss, eating related challenges, managing the stressors of life and implementing self care, trauma and transitional issues. At this time, Katherine is not accepting insurance. Her sliding scale fee is 80-100 dollars per hour.
