(I am licensed in Ohio and must only take residents from Ohio) I have experience counseling clients with a variety of mental health struggles from a wide spectrum of personalities and life experiences. Each counseling experience brings challenges and victories and I consider it an honor and privilege to come alongside individuals or couples in need to help in the healing process. I personally see my role as counselor as an opportunity to serve and understand where a person is and how they want to move forward. With this in mind my goal is to play host to see and recognize where you are, and to dive in with my client(s) and fight alongside in their journey toward healing. There is also a special place in my heart for those going through marriage problems or relationship issues. I have focused on marriage counseling in the last few years and it has become a blessing, struggle and calling in my life.

My faith has been a guiding force in my own healing journey. Let's face it, life is messy! We all, periodically, need someone to walk alongside us, provide comfort and teach us additional tools for the path. Our own healing influences the way we interact with others. I'd love to support you on your journey! I have experience with individuals, ages 13 and above, couples, and families.

Life can be overwhelming at times. In working together our counseling relationship will be a collaborative effort to help you navigate the challenges you are facing. I view your strengths from a holistic lens - encompassing the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of your life. We will explore self -care strategies which may include an awareness of healthy nutrition, movement, rest, meditation, and prayer as you learn new ways of coping and problem solving.
With the love that God has placed in my heart for those who are struggling I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you on this journey toward increased joy, connection, confidence, and hope.
Some have described me as being non-judgemental, open-minded, understanding, “real”, trustworthy, easy to talk with and as having a “sprinkling” of humor.
I enjoy collaborating with young adult college students and career through older adult ages.
We will use a variety of techniques and methods as God leads us on your healing journey. These may include: Motivational Interviewing, Brief- Solution Focused, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Practices.
