Clients who are most successful in counseling are honest, open to new solutions, and teachable. While investment and motivation may wane initially, clients who will implement a new plan will begin to feel better, and therefore be more motivated.
My 20+ year counseling practice encompasses individual, couple, and family counseling. I am thoroughly biblical in my approach and clients and I work together to solve problems.
I am originally from Virginia where I attended Frederick Military Academy in high school. I subsequently worked as a shipboard machinist repairing Navy war ships. After being called to counseling in my mid 20's, I attended Old Dominion University, Southwestern Seminary, and B.H. Carroll Theological Institute. I am a licensed professional counselor and clinical supervisor. I enjoy music as a long-time drummer, and on most Sunday afternoons you will find me in front of a television as a loyal football fan.
